It was 1994, just a few months before the death of Kurt Cobain. Photographer Jesse Frohman took the last formal photos of the Nirvana frontman.
Now those photos are about to be auctioned off… as an NFT, a Non-fungible token. (For an explanation of NFT’s, click here, because I can’t really explain them).
According to Rolling Stone, the collection includes some images that have never been seen publicly.
The auction starts on May 3rd at 12:00 p.m. ET and goes until May 7th at 6:00 p.m. ET. The starting bid for the one-of-one holy grail is 27.27 ETH — a nod to the singer’s age — which roughly equates to $72,000 USD at press time. https://t.co/iWuBAjatCd
