It’s an interesting question that requires some studying and checking out- which these folks have done- I certainly think Metallica could be in the discussion- from their inception through the “Black Album” era, they steadily climbed to the very top of the rock universe- but this is a great read to kick-start you brain on a Monday.

UCR is officially 10 years old! And while we’re extremely proud to hit our milestone, we’re also very aware that our decade of survival pales in comparison to some of rock’s truly great 10 year runs. A lot can be accomplished in 3,650 days; band formations, ground breaking albums, era defining concerts, chart topping hits, etc.
