In February 1980 AC/DC’s long time front man Bon Scott passed away leaving the band with a choice of hanging it up or carrying on.  Angus and Malcom Young remembered Bon Scott telling them about a singer from England he saw in a band named Geordie who knows what rock and roll is all about. This guy was 32 year old Brian Johnson and the rest of course is rock and roll history.  Brian’s first song he sang at his audition was “Nutbush City Limits” and from there on, the boys in AC/DC knew he was the man; a very fateful decision made by both sides. Brian was hired officially on April 1st 1980 and the band went to the Bahamas to record their seventh studio album “Back In Black” that became the second  best selling album of all time!  By the way…the first song Brian wrote with the band was a number called “You Shook Me All Night Long.”
