Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl is getting ready for the tribute show for late bandmate Taylor Hawkins. Grohl was spotted at an iconic Toronto restaurant today with Rush rockers Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, as well as drummer Omar Hakim.
A photo on Hakim’s Insta shows the four musicians at Barberian’s Steakhouse with the caption, “Getting ready for the first Taylor Hawkins Tribute Show in London! So FUN for Dave and I to rehearse with Geddy and Alex of RUSH.”
There will be two tribute shows to commemorate his life with the first stop at London’s Wembley Stadium on September 3 and the last in Los Angeles on September 27.Lee and Lifeson will also make appearances at the London show alongside Brian May, Mark Ronson and Liam Gallagher.
