Another Anniversary For The Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones, perhaps as their moniker states…The World’s Greatest Rock And Roll Band have yet another anniversary to celebrate.  This one…their 25th anniversary of their release of Bridges To Babylon, their 23rd U.S. Studio album. The album featured its lead single Has Anybody Seen My Baby (The video featuring Angelina Jolie)  along with Flip The Switch, and Saint Of Me.  Bridges To Babylon featured Stones members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, and Charlie Watts with appearances by Darryl Jones, Waddie Wachtel, Billy Preston, Benmont Tench, and the album’s co-producer Don Was just to name a few. One little glitch however was settled when Keith Richards daughter listened to the lead single Has Anybody Seen My Baby and said it sounded too close to k.d. lang’s single Constant Craving, so k.d. and her co-writer Ben Mink were also given song writing credits for that single.  After the Stones released Bridges To Babylon in September 1997 they played 108 dates to promote the album for a year with another very successful tour. The Stones also released live albums of the tour: Bridges To Bremen in June 2019, and Bridges to Buenos Aires in November of 2019.
