A new Pink Floyd documentary titled Eclipse will be out later this week.
Eclipse isn’t about Pink Floyd the band, but about Pink Floyd *fans* – specifically, eight fans who traveled to Western Australia to listen to The Dark Side Of The Moon during an eclipse, in the shadow of a giant pyramid. The fans were there for an event that was specifically timed so that the the iconic closing lines “But the sun is eclipsed by the moon…” from the album’s final song ‘Eclipse’ would align with the total eclipse.
A short teaser trailer was released Monday on Pink Floyd’s YouTube Channel:
Eclipse will premiere Friday, Oct. 13th, on Pink Floyd’s YouTube channel. Just in time to watch before the Solar Eclipse this weekend.
Watch the solar eclipse with NASA on Saturday, Oct. 14!
We’ll have live updates as the “ring of fire” crosses from Oregon to Texas, starting at 11:30am ET (1530 UTC). Send us your eclipse Qs with #AskNASA—and check out what you’ll see from your town: https://t.co/aVM22VO3HR pic.twitter.com/N3iEHmjYnt
