Is there anything better than when your favorite band’s music is in your favorite video game? How about if they do a concert actually IN the game?
Metallica is going to make that happen this weekend.
Metallica has famously played concerts on all seven continents. But they’ll be exploring new territory this weekend when they play a virtual concert in the video game ‘Fortnite’.
The event is titled ‘Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury.’ and will play out in-game on Saturday and Sunday. Players will experience six Metallica songs and play an active role in the show, with “gameplay that matches the intensity”. The members of Metallica have also been added to Fortnite as playable characters.
