“Black Mamba” is the first single from The Revenge of Alice Cooper, featuring the original Alice Cooper Group members Cooper, Mike Bruce, Neal Smith, and Dennis Dunaway. Doors guitarist Robby Krieger guest stars on the track.
The album, due out July 25, marks the first new record from the original lineup since 1973’s Muscle of Love. The album includes a previously unreleased guitar part from original guitarist Glen Buxton, who passed away in 1997, on the track “What Happened to You.”
An unreleased alternate version of the 1970 track “Return of the Spiders,” featuring Buxton, will be a bonus cut on deluxe editions of the album.The Revenge of Alice Cooper is described as a “high-voltage journey into vintage horror and classic ’70s shock rock”. Cooper will launch a co-headlining tour with Judas Priest in the fall.
