What are the Rolling Stones up to after cancelling their summer tour? Well according to British tabloids, they’re working on a new album!
According to The Sun, The Rolling Stones are working on a new album with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood recording 13 songs in the studio. The Stones had initially planned a U.S. tour that couldn’t be scheduled, leading them to focus on recording the new album instead.
The new record would be the band’s 25th studio album. Their last, Hackney Diamonds, was released in 2023.
Reports say the band has been working with producer Andrew Watt and new drummer Steve Jordan on the new album.
A release date has not yet been announced.
