Ozzy fans continue to mourn the loss of a legend, but now they’ll have a chance to say goodbye.

The funeral cortège  – a procession to take him to his final resting place – of heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne will take place in Birmingham on Wednesday. Mourners are expected to pause at the Black Sabbath bench and bridge to allow fans to pay their respects, with a live brass band performance by musicians from Bostin’ Brass.

The city’s Lord Mayor, Councillor Zafar Iqbal, emphasized the importance of honoring Osbourne, stating, “Ozzy was more than a music legend – he was a son of Birmingham.”

For fans who are unable to make it to the UK for the funeral, The Black Sabbath bench website is planning to provide an ongoing livestream on Wednesday where you can keep up with the procession. It’s expected to begin at approximately 1PM BST. That’s 7AM CT.
