It appears that Queen is preparing to launch their own branded wine label –  by trademarking their crest logo for use on bottles.

The band previously ventured into drinks branding with Killer Queen vodka in 2014, suggesting that any wine under the Queen name will be treated as more than a novelty product.

The filing indicates that Queen intends to retain direct control over the image and presentation of any wine label to safeguard quality and authenticity.

The UK trademark covers “alcoholic beverages; wine” without specifying a particular style, hinting at a potential release in late 2025 or 2026. The wine bottles are expected to feature the ornate crest designed by Freddie Mercury, making them instantly recognizable and potentially collectible items. Hopefully delicious, too.

Maybe that’s why Brian May recently spent time in Tuscany?
