Make room on your TBR pile, because Alex Van Halen is bringing Van Halen fans on a guided tour through the band’s first golden era with a new book.
The book, tentatively titled Van Halen, will cover the years 1978 through 1984, including the band’s rapid rise to fame and the original lineup’s final tour in support of their album 1984. Alex called Van Halen’s rise “one of the greatest American stories.”
The book will feature rare and never-before-seen images from the band’s private archives, exploring album artwork, musical instruments, and press materials, and is filled filled with photographs, correspondence, and memorabilia.
The release date for Van Halen has not been announced, but it will be published as a signed, limited edition book boxed set.
Alex Van Halen released his first book, the memoir Brothers, in 2024.
