Beatles fans are getting a treat for Thanksgiving. ‘The Beatles Anthology’ series, originally released 30 years ago, is being newly restored and will air on Disney+ in a three-night streaming event starting on Nov. 26.

The original Anthology series was a comprehensive history of the Beatles, featuring new interviews with Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison, as well as archival interviews with John Lennon.

The newly restored version of the series will expand the original eight episodes into nine. Previously unreleased footage of the surviving Beatles working on the Anthology project will be included in the new version, with restoration and sound mixing overseen by Apple Corps and technicians at Peter Jackson’s Park Road Post in New Zealand.

Disney+ will release the docuseries in batches of three episodes over three consecutive days, with the first three episodes premiering on Nov. 26, followed by episodes four through six on Nov. 27, and the final three on Nov. 28.
