Alex Van Halen has confirmed that he and Steve Lukather are working on a new Van Halen album! The project will include unheard material from the late Eddie Van Halen.
The new album is based on recordings intended for the next Van Halen record before Eddie Van Halen’s passing, with Wolfgang Van Halen on bass. Steve Lukather’s versatility in playing various instruments is highlighted, but a vocalist is still needed for the project. It was originally intended to be a follow-up to 2012’s “A Different Kind of Truth,” but was halted following Eddie Van Halen’s passing in 2020.
