The Rolling Stones and Marvel have collaborated on a US-exclusive collector vinyl series for the band’s upcoming album, “Foreign Tongues,” featuring five variants inspired by Marvel characters like Spider-Man and Captain America.
The custom comic book inserts accompanying each vinyl variant were specifically created for this release, adding a unique element to the collector’s experience and deepening the connection to the corresponding character.
“Foreign Tongues,” the album contained in the collector series, was recorded in under a month at Metropolis Studios in West London and features collaborations with music legends like Steve Winwood, Paul McCartney, and Robert Smith.
The album also includes a special contribution from Charlie Watts, recorded before his passing in August 2021, adding emotional weight to the project.
The Marvel character artwork on the vinyl series provides a visual contrast to the band’s rock and roll history, creating a unique blend of music and superhero culture.
