Alex Van Halen has been knighted in the Netherlands!
Van Halen’s drummer was awarded the title of “Ridder in de Orde van de Nederlandse Leeuw” in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
Alex Van Halen expressed gratitude for the honor, stating, “I think institutions like this are important in people’s lives because it adds a dignity and a gravity to what we do.”

Alex Van Halen signed Nijmegen’s Book of the City, a unique book given to notable tourists, highlighting his connection to the city where he and his brother Eddie were born.
Van Halen, formed by Alex and Eddie Van Halen, achieved success with hits like “Runnin’ With The Devil” and “Jump,” leading to their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007.
Alex Van Halen is currently working on a new album with Steve Lukather.
