Led Zeppelin fans are about to get a treat. ‘Becoming Led Zeppelin’ – the first-ever band-sanctioned documentary on the group – will be released in physical form on Friday, September 30th.
The documentary will be released in a deluxe Steelbook edition with the film on 4K and Blu-ray, accompanied by various memorabilia items.
Becoming Led Zeppelin traces the journeys of the four members of the band through the music scene of the 1960s and their meeting in the summer of 1968, culminating in 1970.
The film had a record-breaking performance for its first weekend at the box office, opening to an impressive $3 million IMAX debut across 16 countries and territories in February.
Domestically, the film’s $2.6 million start represented the biggest opening weekend ever for an IMAX-exclusive music release.
