Another Jimi Hendrix classic album is getting a re-release. Originally released in 1967, “Axis: Bold As Love” was the second studio album from The Jimi Hendrix Experience, and has grown to be considered one of Hendrix‘s key releases.

The release is now being celebrated with “Bold As Love,” an expanded collection celebrating the legacy of Jimi Hendrix’s “Axis: Bold As Love,” featuring immersive Dolby ATMOS mixes and 40 alternative versions, unreleased studio takes, demos, live tracks, and television appearances.

The box set includes the original stereo and mono mixes of “Axis: Bold As Love,” along with previously unheard demos and alternate versions of tracks like “Mr. Bad Luck” and “Burning of the Midnight Lamp.” It also includes tracks like “Hey Joe” and “Purple Haze” from a 1967 Swedish show and a Top of the Pops appearance of “Burning of the Midnight Lamp.”
