B&T’s Favorite Green Room Cookie: Battered & AIR-FRIED! (State Fair Deep Fried Oreo’s Cooler Cousin) The Cast of Characters: 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup instant pancake batter 4-6 Biscoff vanilla sandwich cookies (the real star of this show) Cooking spray Powdered sugar (icing optional, but haunts your dreams if skipped — more on that below) The Plan: Make the batter. Mix the water and pancake batter until it’s THIIICK — thick enough to actually cling to a cookie and not just slide off in disappointment. Dunk ’em. Dip each cookie in the batter using your fingers or a skewer, whichever feels more like a carnival worker to you. Load up the air fryer. Place battered cookies in your (preferable dirty) air fryer. Repeat until all cookies are coated and in. Fry to glory. Set to 350°F for 3 minutes. Flip. Cook 3 more minutes at 350°F. Finish strong. Remove from the air fryer and dust with powdered sugar. Icing is an option I have personally dreamed about often since NOT doing it the first time. Learn from my mistakes. Eat immediately, regret nothing. You will demolish these and you will probably burn your mouth because patience is not part of this recipe. God’s speed, soldier.
