What a year 1991 was for Van Halen and their fans! First the release of “For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge” (Happy 30th Anniversary) and the fact that Van Halen played a Pop Up Free Concert in downtown Dallas on the West End Market Place on December 4, 1991! The concert, with no official setlist, was performed based on a promise lead vocalist Sammy Hagar told the crowd at the Cotton Bowl during a VH concert in 1988 while suffering from massive throat problems that the band would play for free!
