Sheffield England rockers Def Leppard released their second album “High And Dry” 40 years ago…(still cannot believe my vinyl copy of it is 40!) “High And Dry” was Lep’s follow up to their 1980 debut album “On Through The Night”…( can’t believe that album is 41!) and featured the line up of Joe Elliott, Rick Allen, Rick Savage, Steve Clark, and Pete Willis…(this would be Pete Willis’ last album as a full time member of the band). The album featured such timeless classics like “High And Dry”, “Let It Go”, and “Bringin’ On The Heartache/Switch 625” as well as other Def Leppard jams we’ve been listening to for years! The bans is celebrating “High And Dry’s” Anniversary with a special streaming event August 28th with “High And Dry: A 40th Anniversary Retrospective”.
