We all heard the mega-hit “Heartbreaker” from soon-to-be Rock And Roll Hall Of Famer Pat Benatar.  Well…the song was originally recorded by Birmingham England’s very own Jenny Darren!  Jenny recorded it on her 1978 album “Queen Of Fools”. As her record label was also a publishing house, the song was eventually picked up by Pat Benatar who adjusted some of the original lyrics that led to the second single from her album  “In The Heat Of The Night” in 1979.  Indecently. Jenny Darren, at 68, made a big splash a few years ago on Britain’s Go Talent with a cover of AC/DC’s “Highway To Hell” where she received a standing ovation and a thumbs up from all four judges! Jenny also has recorded thirteen albums and eighteen singles and still rocks!  So…check out the original version of “Heartbreaker” and Pat Benatar’s version…
