A long-lost recording from The Doors, “Paris Blues” is believed to be the final unreleased studio recording from the band. It was ‘rescued’ from a damaged cassette tape after after the original master tapes were lost.
The album also includes two previously unreleased live tracks of Jim Morrison and Robby Krieger performing “I Will Never Be Untrue” and Robert Johnson’s “Me and the Devil Blues”, a pair of Soft Parade outtakes, and three live tracks featuring blues guitarist Albert King.
Paris Blues will be released on limited-edition vinyl for Record Store Day’s Black Friday is set for Nov. 25th.
