While we are having “quarantinis” together, I’m trying to appeal to many tastes (and many differently stocked bars!) so we all can spend time celebrating together (while properly social distancing, of course).
Today is National Zoo Lovers Day, so we needed a zoo animal inspired drink. Why this is called a Zebra Fizz, I don’t – and probably never will – know.
What I do know is that it only takes a few ingredients that you probably already have in your house.
Zebra Fizz
1 oz vodka
2 oz flavoured Schnapps of your choice
Splash of lemonade
Splash of Lemon-Lime pop
Combine vodka, Schnapps, and lemonade in a shaker with ice. Shake it until it feels right. Then pour over ice and add a splash of Lemon-Lime pop.
I made mine with peach Schnapps, since that’s the one closest to the front of the shelf, and I’m lazy today. It’s a little sweet, but packs a kick (much like me. Just kidding, I’m not sweet at all).
