Happy Easter!

One of the things I love about Easter is that lots of people celebrate with brunch. I love brunch! That perfect combination of breakfast and lunch!

And I know that here in Wisconsin people love Bloody Marys. So what better Quarantini to offer up on Easter than a twist on a Bloody Mary?

I give you: The Bunny Mary. Like a Bloody Mary, but with carrot juice!

I found this recipe, but modified it because I thought an entire pitcher might be a little much for just me.

Bunny Mary

2 oz. vodka

1 Cup carrot juice

1 Tbsp. lime juice

1 tsp. caper brine (or just use more olive juice if you don’t have capers)

1 tsp. olive juice

1/2 tsp. worchestershire sauce

Hot sauce (I used Tobasco) to taste

Mix all ingredients except vodka together. Salt the rim of a pint glass (I used hot salt, but you can use whatever you like), and then fill glass with ice. Pour vodka over ice, then top with carrot juice mixture. Garnish as desired – celery, olives, capers, carrots, lime slices, whatever!
